Fresh snow, deep blue
skies, awesome clouds swirling around some of the most spectacular
mountains in the nation and the fall colors... Oh yeah, and a person
riding his skateboard up a hill on the highway what more could you ask for. He had to been quite
pooped out when he got to Telluride. Tis a great way to tour the region
if I say so myself. The renowned and elegant Wilson Peak 14,021 feet in elevation and imposing Gladstone Peak 13,913 feet provides for the stunning backdrop. Hidden in the southwest corner of Colorado in the sublime San Juan Mountains, Wilson Peak has come to represent Colorado so thoroughly, that it now graces every can of Coors beer, not that I drink. No talk of Colorado mountains is complete without mentioning Wilson Peak.
