Story: The Thursday beforeMemorial weekend in 2019, I decided to head out to do some camping at McClure Pass campground, I knew that very few people would be there as it is a fairly high elevation campground. I also timed it for a late season snowstorm to pass through the area. It turned out that the snow was coming down really heavily at McClure Pass and my car was not having any of it traveling on the mountain pass so I opted to drop to a lower elevation so I headed to Ridgway State Park. Happy to say that the snow was much lighter there. The next morning I went out to County RD 10 which leads to Owl Creek Pass. I have a personal favorite spot along the road that overlooks both the Sneffels Range in it's entirety as well as the Cimarron Mountains. The snow from the night before created an incredible fresh blanket on the peaks of the Sneffels Range along with the greening of the grass in lower elevations. Plus the clearing system created some incredible dawn light on the peaks and sky.
Special Edition print of 10: This is a true panorama, each having their own unique dimensions.
Each print is signed, numbered, and hand picked from my portfolio to
become a set of limited edition prints. The print size will vary
depending on the ratio of the final photograph because I keep the
original aspect ratio intended for that image. The final print will come
with a white border on the top, left and right, with a deeper white
border on the bottom for signing and numbering. This also makes it
easier when your framer is mounting.
Paper: Fine Art Satin Paper: This Acid-Free Premium Quality Photo Paper Is Slightly Textured and Maintains a Luster Surface.
